Bob Davis

I chose a career in Christian education because it allows teachers and students the freedom to consider all subjects as a unified whole, organized around the Truth of God from which all subjects originate: “The Works of the LORD are Great, they are studied by all who delight in them.” Ps. 111:2.  In other words, we are free to teach all of the truth all of the time, as this is our responsibility as parents and educators: “Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads, Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 11:18-19Furthermore, the opportunities for discipleship in the classroom, in athletics, and all extra-curricular activities are ever present, and caring, professional Christian teachers can watch for, create, and take advantage of these “teachable moments”. I definitely see my role at Libertas as a high calling from God, a ministry to the mission field of classical Christian education. I am very excited to have the privilege of being a part of Libertas Christian School! For Him, Bob Davis
