Anne Brown

Until I discovered Freedom in the late 1980’s all my schooling and teaching had been in the government schools. Before our first born was school age we knew we wanted our children to attend Freedom because of the Freedom families we had met. Upon returning to Michigan in 1998 we immediately enrolled Suzanna in Freedom. By the year 2000 both Jim and I were called to teach at Freedom. Subsequently all our children enrolled at Freedom in Kindergarten (and graduated 3) until it closed in 2014. The school I wanted for our children ended up being the environment in which I also wanted to teach. I am thankful for the freedom to open God’s word in the classroom.

It has been 30 years since my first “band job” and I am thankful God still allows me to teach young children how to go from “zero to Hot Cross Buns” and beyond here at Libertas.
